OER (Open Education Resources): What's in it for You (Researcher Workshop Series) In-Person
This workshop is targeted for graduate students and faculty who wish to learn more about incorporating OER into their research and teaching. OER include public domain resources such as government data sets, open licensed textbooks, peer reviewed open access journals and more. Attendees will be introduced to strategies and major discovery tools for locating OER that already exist and instructions for creating and sharing new original OER.
The presenters will be Mark Anderson, Associate Professor / Government Documents Librarian and Stan Trembach, Assistant Professor / Education Librarian.
This session is the first in our four-part Researcher Workshop Series. Later sessions will cover:
